Arrival

Participants arrive at Schipol Airport, or Central station.
Participants travel via bus or train to  Nivonhuis. We will help people arrange group travel if needed.

Opening Night

Participants get to know one another through an evening of creative activities and a group dinner.

As a group, participants visit 3 places linked to problem statements focusing on urban and rural settings.

Do you have an innovative water project or idea that needs testing and refining before leaving port? Bring it to the market innovation place and get support to move it into reality. Even if you don’t think you have an idea, this stream is designed for you as well, as we will explore areas that you may want to engage with further (and you may leave WIL 2017 Europe with some ideas of your own).

KING’S DAY Evening Celebration

APRIL 27th is King’s Day in the Netherlands

It may well be the best party in Holland. April 27th is a national holiday that celebrates King Willem Alexander’s birthday with music, street parties, flea markets, and fun fairs. WIL Europe 2017 plans to celebrate this holiday with a terrific evening celebration. Bring something orange to wear!
